The main objective of library is to promote the Vision and Mission of Arunachal Pradesh University and to make it the best learning resource centre possible in order to enhance the academic and research pursuits of the University.

Additionally, it seeks to implement continuous technology advancements to provide top-notch digital and physical content and services to various stakeholders.

In accordance with its objectives, the library has procured more than 1000 books in last one year to cater the needs of existing 5 departments i.e., Commerce, Economics, Education, Social Work and Tribal Studies. The University has recently signed MoU with Indian School of Business (ISB) to access its E-resources. The library has also subscribed various scholarly journals which are useful for the students, researchers and faculty members of the university. Further some important newspapers and magazines have also been made available.
