Ms. Isha Basar

6 months experience of field work and data collection on a research project titled ‘A study on woman reproductive health among the four major tribes of Arunachal Pradesh’ under Dr. M. Asghar, Assistant Professor of Anthropology department. The project was funded by ICMR, Delhi.
4 months experience of work in Centre for Endangered Language (CFEL), AITS. The work involved field work and data collection of the social and cultural tradition of the Ollo tribe of Lazu village in Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh.

Co-edited a book titled Perspective on North East India: Way Forward published by Kumud Publications, Delhi, India in the year 2023. ISBN No. 978-93-92023-58-3.

Presented a Paper titled Understanding Gender Equity Among Women Street Vendors of Arunachal Pradesh: Challenges and Barrier in the National Seminar on the theme ‘Land, People, Economy and Governance: Models and Practices” Organised by the Department of Geography, Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh on 13th and 14th September, 2024.
Presented a paper titled Financial Inclusion Challenges for Women Street Vendors: Addressing the Gaps in Economic Empowerment in the One Day National Seminar on Financial Inclusion and Inclusive Growth: The Indian Experiences organised by the Department of Economics, Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh on 24^th March, 2025.

Presented a paper titled Socio-Economic Status of Women Street Vendors of Papum Pare District of Arunachal Pradesh in the International Seminar on Ethnic Cultural Studies in 21^st Century: Prospects and Challenges with Special Reference to Arunachal Pradesh jointly organized by Research Institute of World’s Ancient Traditions, Cultures and Heritage (RIWATCH) and Jomin Tayeng Government Model Degree College (JTGMDC), Roing on 26^th and 27^th March, 2022.

Participated in the three-day National Workshop on “Research and Publication Ethics” organised by Department of Social Work, Psychology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, English and National Security Studies, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh from 9th to 11th November, 2022.
Participated in the Two-Day Workshop on Effective Academic Writing organized by Department of Education, RGU in collaboration with Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi and NETRA Foundation held on 22^nd and 23^rd May,2024.
Participated in a Two-Day National Level Workshop on Academic Writing for Building Academic Capacity jointly organised by the Department of Sociology and the Department of Tribal Studies, Arunachal Pradesh University, Pasighat in collaboration with the India Sociological Society (ISS) and RC-17: Collective Actions, Mobilizations and Social Movements of the Indian Sociological Society from 13^th to 14^th November, 2025.
